Progress - 8 - merchandise update on website
Progress - 7 - petition links added on website
I have added petitions to my website through button links for the audience to sign as part of the 'anti war' them associated with the artist and the song for the video. The note from the artist should inspire audiences to want to make a change and (hypothetically) as fans of the artist, generically they will agree with their viewpoint and want to do what they can do help.

Progress - 5 - adding the music video and audio visual to website
I have been updating my website by adding the music video on the 'home' page and audio visual on the 'music' page.
I used a mix of fonts to make it stand out and look aesthetically pleasing to my audience. I did this on both pages to keep a consistent brand image throughout.

Progress - 4 - Audio visual ideas
Initially for my audio visual, i was planning on doing an interview with a backdrop i had put together inside although, due to current circumstances and self isolating, there was never a time Jacob and I could film together indoors. I had to be innovative and after looking through the footage i had i thought it would be fun to create a 'behind the scenes' short clip to put onto my website.
The clip is something the audience will hopefully find humorous and is an insight into the artists personality meaning they will gratify from this and feel like they know them on a more personal level. This is something artists typically do to be more engaging and therefore more popular with their audiences wants and needs.

Progress - 2 - Title sequence creation in Ipiccy
I needed to create a title sequence in my music video so i created an image combining layers of texts and a picture of the British flag on an editing software similar to photoshop called Ipiccy.
I played around with font types and styles and also tried to include colours from the website to keep a consistant brand identity although, i ended up going with a black font over the flag so it stood out. I made the artist name bigger than the name of the song as this is a typical convention of music videos.
After i designed it and used appropriate fonts and typography to fit the aesthetic, i made the background slightly transparent so i could place it over the first clip of Jacob lip syncing near the start of the video to also fit conventions of music videos.
